When tasked with the creation of new T-Shirts for Mrs Wordsmith, my mind immediately went to the world of streetwear. In recent years the likes of Supreme, Carhartt, Palace and others have been featuring cartoon illustrations influenced by vintage Americana commercial graphics.
Whilst doing research on kids’ clothing I also found collections that consistently featured one or two pieces so cool I wished they had been available them in adult sizes as well.
The next step was clear: designing an entire line of T-shirts that could be worn by kids and adults alike.
